SUNHE continues to deepen its layout in the micro soft-pack lithium battery sector and has achieved phased progress in the R&D and pilot production of high-silicon semi-solid lithium batteries, adopting differentiated technologies for the consumer micro new energy power supply market. The high-silicon semi-solid cells under development adopt silicon-carbon anodes paired with a high-voltage system, delivering an energy density of up to 1000Wh/L. While boosting battery life, the product enhances safety stability. Supporting ultra-thin and special-shaped designs with a minimum thickness of 0.4mm, it perfectly fits compact devices such as smart wearables and small medical electronics.
The R&D team keeps optimizing processes to tackle industry challenges including interfacial stability and packaging yield of semi-solid cells. Multiple semi-solid cell samples have passed in-house reliability tests covering cycle life and high-low temperature performance, and are now delivered to global customers for solution validation. Inquiries and sample orders from overseas clients are growing steadily.
In terms of production capacity, leveraging the coordinated dual manufacturing bases in Shenzhen and Hubei, SUNHE has upgraded pilot stations for semi-solid cells and built pilot lines for customized small-batch production. Manufactured under ISO quality management system, products hold UL, CE, KC and other international certifications to support commercialization in overseas markets.
Faced with homogeneous price competition in consumer lithium battery industry, SUNHE avoids general cell tracks and focuses on customized semi-solid cells with small size and high specifications. Moving forward, SUNHE will accelerate the transformation of semi-solid technological achievements, continuously optimize manufacturing processes, advance samples into low-volume mass production, and expand customers in smart wearable and portable medical electronics globally. The company will fuel high-quality development of the micro new energy industry through technological innovation of semi-solid lithium batteries.
