For outdoor, industrial and special-equipment applications, SUNHE ENERGY offers wide-temperature lithium cells engineered to deliver usable power from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius. A standard consumer cell can sag in cold or age quickly in heat, but equipment deployed outdoors must keep working across the full seasonal range.
When Standard Cells Fall Short
At low temperature, electrolyte viscosity rises and ion transport slows, so a cell that feels fine in a room can deliver a fraction of its capacity when it is freezing. At high temperature, sustained heat accelerates side reactions and aging. Outdoor sensors, metering gear, portable instruments and specialty equipment all need a cell that ignores these extremes.
Electrolyte and Formulation Engineering
Wide-temperature behavior is won mainly at the formulation level. We tailor the electrolyte blend so it stays fluid in the cold while remaining stable in the heat, and we adjust electrode and separator choices to keep internal resistance predictable across the range. The pack-level design then adds venting and layout that move heat away from the cell body.
Tested for Harsh Use
Each wide-temperature design is validated through high and low temperature cycling, storage and discharge testing before it reaches production. Customers get a cell rated for the environments their equipment actually lives in, rather than one tuned for a comfortable lab bench.
