SUNHE ENERGY designs irregular and flexible lithium cells that fit the product, instead of forcing the product around a standard rectangular battery. When a battery can follow the available space, designers recover volume for electronics, cooling and a more comfortable outer shell.
Beyond the Rectangular Pouch
Off-the-shelf cells come in a limited set of shapes, and that limit quietly dictates device ergonomics. Our custom-shaped platform allows rounded corners, stepped outlines and contoured forms that track the gaps inside a housing. This is especially valuable for wearables, handheld instruments and compact IoT devices where every cubic millimeter is contested.
Structure and Packaging Cooperation
A non-standard shape is only useful if it remains reliable. We cooperate on structure and packaging early, balancing the bend radius, the sealing border and the internal electrode layout so the cell survives drops, vibration and thermal cycling. The protection circuit and lead placement are co-designed with the mechanical housing to avoid wasted space and weak points.
What Designers Get Back
With a battery that matches the enclosure, teams can chase thinner profiles, better grip and more functional features without compromising runtime. We support the full loop from a first enclosure sketch to a validated pack, so custom geometry becomes a design freedom rather than a late-stage constraint.
