Robots demand both long runtime and sudden power; SUNHE ENERGY packs are engineered to deliver energy and rate without compromise.
Robots are among the most demanding battery loads in the market today. A humanoid or service robot must hold enough energy for hours of work, yet deliver high bursts of current when it walks, lifts or reacts. At SUNHE ENERGY we design custom packs that handle both duties rather than optimizing for only one.
The Dual Demand: Energy and Power
Long runtime pulls the design toward high-capacity cells and a large pack, while agile motion pulls toward cells that can deliver high discharge current without overheating. We reconcile the two by selecting cell chemistries and electrode designs that support sustained medium-rate output with strong peak capability, and by sizing the pack so the continuous load sits comfortably within the safe operating window.
Pack Design for Robotic Applications
A robot pack is more than cells in a box. Mechanical structure must protect cells against vibration and shock, thermal design must keep the pack cool during high-current operation, and the battery management system must report state of charge and current accurately so the robot's motion controller can plan its next move. We work with the robot team on mounting, connector, communication protocol and redundancy options.
Custom Solutions for Different Robot Segments
Humanoid, service, collaborative and industrial robots each carry different weight budgets, duty cycles and form factors. Our approach is to start from the mechanical envelope and power profile, then assemble a custom cell configuration, protection scheme and enclosure that fits the product. The result is a power source that feels like part of the robot rather than an add-on.
